Arrived

This is just a quick note to say that I've arrived safe and sound in Tel Aviv. My mom met met in the hotel lobby -- she arrived 6 hours ahead of me. We enjoyed a fine dinner in the hotel restaurant, then went for a walk along the beach as the sun was setting. Priceless!

Tomorrow the tour officially gets underway, so I need to get to bed in order to get some of this jet lag behind me. I hope to have the opportunity to write a longer post tomorrow evening, and include pictures.
